ACT 01 — THE OPERATIONAL CHALLENGE

The Challenge & Scope

The challenge was to design one coherent Qatar National Sport Day experience across three distinct waterfront destinations—Gewan Island, Porto Arabia and Qanat Quartier—while serving children, adults, families and fitness enthusiasts. The programme needed to balance competitive sports, casual participation, creative activities, health services, visitor movement, branding and safety across sites with different layouts and audience patterns.

ACT 02 — THE E3 TURNKEY SOLUTION

Engineering Execution

E3 developed a multi-location activation plan for 10 February 2026 combining football, basketball, cycling, fitness equipment, table games, inflatables, VR reaction challenges, climbing, obstacle courses and creative activities. The plan included a 20-station Fitness Passport journey, roaming sports parades, photo opportunities, health-check and hydration points, information services, shuttle transport, first aid, coordinated staffing, technical systems and extensive destination-wide branding.

ACT 03 — MEASURABLE IMPACT & RESULTS

The Delivered Result

The integrated framework established a clear, inclusive visitor journey across all three destinations, connecting active challenges with entertainment, wellness and community participation. The planned scope included 20,000 Fitness Passports, destination-wide support services and coordinated operational infrastructure, giving UDC a scalable National Sport Day platform designed to inspire movement, strengthen community connection and celebrate wellbeing.
